The 11th annual ChicagoCAN reception and awards ceremony will take place Aug. 17 at the Merchandise Mart/Marshall’s landing.
Canstruction Chicago, an annual design/build competition, challenges teams to build “colossal structures made entirely of canned food.” At the end of the event, all food is donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
