B&I Contractors, Inc., is pleased to participate in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk in Broward County. This event brings together community members, survivors, and supporters to raise awareness and funds in the fight against heart disease.
Each year, the Heart Walk furthers the American Heart Association’s efforts to promote heart health through research, education, and local programs. B&I employees join the walk to recognize loved ones, celebrate survivors, and support those impacted by cardiovascular disease.
“I’m excited to join the AHA Broward Health Walk and be hands-on in supporting heart health, connecting with others, and helping drive positive change right here in our community,” said Nathan Zlotnick, Project Engineer.
The 2026 Broward Heart Walk, benefiting the American Heart Association, is set for Sunday, March 8, at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Fla. Activities will begin at 8 a.m., with the walk scheduled to start at 9:15 a.m.
Heart Walk events benefiting the American Heart Association are scheduled to take place in communities across the United States in 2026 as part of the organization’s nationwide campaign to combat heart disease and stroke.
The Heart Walk series includes hundreds of locally organized events that bring together survivors, families, corporate teams and volunteers to raise funds for cardiovascular research, CPR education, public health programs and advocacy efforts. Dates vary by region, with walks typically held throughout the spring and fall.
Heart disease and stroke remain the leading causes of death in the United States. Funds raised through the Heart Walk support scientific research, prevention initiatives and community programs aimed at improving heart health and expanding access to care.
Registration information and fundraising details are available through the American Heart Association’s Broward Heart Walk page.
