Ashton Woods Raleigh expands high-end housing in NC with four new projects

Luxury home builder Ashton Woods Raleigh is expanding its high-end residential collection with  projects in Cary, Durham and Raleigh, adding four new communities to the company’s existing roster of nine.

Despite concerns that there is not enough affordable homes in the region, the Raleigh-based developer continues to build homes with price tags ranging from $400,000 to $600,000.

In Cary, Ashton Woods is developing two projects namely GlenPark and Ridgefield Farms. In GlenPark, the cheapest home will be offered at $400,000. Buyers will have two home plans to choose from, each featuring different designs of spaces measuring over 2,700 sq ft. As of Nov. 20, five of the planned 50 units have already been pre-sold. Grand opening of the development is slated for January 2018.

Meanwhile, in Ridgefield Farms, prices of homes range from $500,000 to $549,000 depending on design. Units measure up to 5,503 sq ft. with seven bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. To date, 11 of the planned 71 units have been pre-sold. The exclusive community is nestled in a wooded area, which the developer describes to appear like a retreat. Construction of homes is underway with the opening scheduled for spring of 2018.

In West Raleigh, Ashton Woods is constructing homes at The Hamptons. The community off Ebenezer Church Rd. offers several designs with prices starting in the low $600,000. The first home is expected for completion by early spring of 2018.

The Terraces in Durham is still in its planning phase. For the Ellis Crossing community, the developer plans to offer a variety of “terrace-style” houses. Prices and specific design details have yet to be announced. Pre-selling is expected to begin near end of 2017.
