Construction starts for $11 million Temple Beth El project in Boca Raton

Temple Beth El of Boca Raton has kicked-off the construction and renovation of its Schaefer Family Campus with a groundbreaking ceremony in late April. Kaufman Lynn Construction will oversee the $11 million project to be completed in phases with the first phase to be completed this fall and overall completion scheduled for late 2019.

Phase 1 improvements will include renovation of the existing 5,597-sq. ft. sanctuary and 4,127-sq. ft. atrium. Phase 2 will include a major renovation including an expanded covered entry, lobby and welcome center, a new chapel and an adult learning center.

The construction of a new two-story in-fill building featuring approximately 6,000 sq. ft. of additional space in the existing courtyard area, renovation of existing banquet halls and the renovation of 3,000 sq. ft. of existing office space will round out Phase 3 and the project’s completion.
