Indianapolis-based developer Milhaus, which specializes in Class A urban infill, mixed-use and multifamily residential buildings, has appointed James Benning president of construction.
Benning previously served as vice-president of construction at Buckingham Companies and also led the construction of $650 million of multifamily, retail, commercial, municipal, medical, industrial, federal, highway heavy and land development projects. Benning also recently developed a $100 million urban, mixed-use development in Nashville, TN.
The company says in his new role, he will oversee the construction division and support his team throughout all stages of their projects, from pre-construction through substantial completion. “Benning will ensure consistency through developing standards across the Milhaus construction division. His scope will encompass projects across Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.”
