New multifamily community breaks ground in North Jacksonville, Florida

A new multifamily development is underway in North Jacksonville, with Fansler Construction announcing this week that it has broken ground on Royal Palms Apartments at 15275 N. Main Street, near River City Marketplace.

The project is being developed by Ceiba Groupe, a Fort Lauderdale-based firm specializing in luxury multifamily and mixed-use communities. This marks the company’s first project in the Jacksonville market.

“North Jacksonville is growing rapidly, and we are thrilled to partner with Ceiba Groupe to bring another quality community to the area to help meet the housing demand,” said Jason Fansler, president and CEO of Fansler Construction.

Royal Palms will include 227 rental units across three four-story apartment buildings and seven two-story townhomes along with a clubhouse, oversized gym, resort-style pool, landscaped walking path, garages, and fenced backyards.

This is Fansler Construction’s third project in the North Jacksonville area. Earlier this year, the company completed the 285-unit Apela House and, in spring 2024, delivered the 290-unit The Note, both located within a few miles of the 11-acre Royal Palms site.

Royal Palms Main Street is scheduled for completion in early 2027.
