Priestly Demolition Inc. successfully completed the controlled demolition blast on Feb. 15 as part of the Former Bunge Grain Silos Demolition Project in Cincinnati.
The 245-foot reinforced concrete Head House was brought down precisely as engineered using an explosive razing method. All safety protocols were executed as planned, exclusion zones were strictly enforced, and real-time monitoring confirmed vibration and air overpressure remained within approved limits.
This operation required detailed planning, coordination with public safety agencies, and disciplined field execution.
“We’re proud to report the demolition was completed safely, efficiently and without incident,” the company said in a statement.
