The American Concrete Institute (ACI) has opened registration for the Spring 2026 ACI Concrete Convention March 29 to April 1 in Rosemont/Chicago, IL. Discounted rates are available until March 27. The official hotel for the ACI Concrete Convention is the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago Hotel.
The event will bring together engineers, contractors, educators, manufacturers, and material representatives to discuss and collaborate on concrete codes, specifications, and practices. Attendees will benefit from technical and educational sessions that feature the latest research, case studies, and best practices, along with opportunities to earn Professional Development Hours (PDHs).
Highlighting companies, projects, research, and more, and will include numerous networking opportunities, the event includes an exhibit hall showcasing products and services offered by exhibitors.
More than 300 committee meetings will be open to all attendees, along with 60 technical sessions, an industry trade exhibition, networking events, and much more. Select programming will be accessible on-demand for remote participants.
Convention highlights include:
- Opening Session begins with a welcome address by ACI President Maria Juenger and recognition of new honorary members, fellows, and 50-year members for their contributions to the concrete industry.
- FRP Composites Student Competition challenges student teams to design, construct, and test an FRP-reinforced concrete structure that achieves the lowest cost-load ratio. Teams must consider material, fabrication, transportation, and sustainability factors, and submit a presentation detailing their design approach, calculations, predicted failure mode, and ultimate load in compliance with contest rules. - Concrete Mixer: An evening of networking, entertainment, and great food. An assortment of food and beverages will be available.
- Student and Young Professional Networking Event: a casual networking exchange following the opening reception.
- President’s Reception: ACI President Maria Juenger invites all convention attendees to the President’s Reception to network with committee chairs, chapter presidents, and international attendees.
