Turner Construction Company has been selected to build a 46-story commercial office tower at 343 Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, officials announced Thursday.

Developed by BXP and designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, the 930,000-square-foot tower will include an underground transit entrance connecting to Grand Central Terminal, enhancing accessibility in one of the city’s busiest transit hubs.

The project is designed to minimize its impact on light and air in the densely developed area, featuring strategic setbacks and integrated green spaces to create visual engagement and a connection to the surrounding urban environment. The building is targeting LEED Platinum certification for sustainability.

“We are honored to contribute to a project that not only enhances the iconic New York City skyline but also improves access to public transit,” said Luigi Morfea, construction executive at Turner Construction. “Our top priority is ensuring the safety of the public and our workforce throughout the construction process. We look forward to collaborating with BXP, KPF, and our trade partners to bring this vision to life.”

Construction timelines and completion dates have not yet been released.
