Chicago has issued a revised $141 million permit for a West Loop project at 727 W. Madison St., an alternative address for the 44-story cylindrical tower known as One South Halsted.
The permit issued to Lend Lease (US) Construction says: “Revision to foundations and superstructure permit 100655010. Relocation of stormwater detention tank and water connection in Halsted, revisions to caissons, core grade beams, ground floor framing, underground plumbing, electrical and parkway design per plans.”
Subtrades listed on the permit include: Electrical – Bonus Electric; masonry – All Masonry Const. Co. Inc.; plumber/plumbing – Ewing-Doherty Mechanical, Inc.; refrigeration and ventilation – Heatmasters Inc.
Curbed Chicago reported earlier: “One South Halsted comes from co-developers Fifield Companies and F&F Realty with design work headed by FitzGerald Associates Architects. It will contain 492 rental apartment units, 9,500 sq. ft. of ground floor retail, and a 375-stall parking garage to be shared between residents and guests of the Crowne Plaza.”
