Groundbreaking marks start of rapid construction for 67-story Miami tower

A groundbreaking ceremony was held this week and the developer of the 67-story JEM Private Residences tower at Miami Worldcenter has set an ambitious construction timeline. Moving from market entry to construction launch in under five months, the project set a new record for development speed in South Florida.

Once completed, the tower will stand over 700 feet, making it the tallest permissible building in the area, with 259 luxury condo units on its upper levels and the lower levels with 530 multi-family units. Also, ground-floor commercial space and 591 parking spots are also in the plans.

Arquitectonica completed the architectural design, while Coastal Construction will oversee the construction. The Naftali Group is leading the development efforts.

The tower is expected to be completed in 2027.
