Jennifer Black has been hired as business development manager at Comprehensive Energy Services, Inc., Longwood. Black has 14 years of major construction industry experience, and her duties include strategic marketing, new business development, client retention, and preconstruction services. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Texas State University, and certification from the Institute for Project Management – Mechanical Contractors Association in conjunction with the University of Texas Cockrell School of Engineering. In addition, she holds a LEED AP BD+C certification from the United States Green Building Council, and formerly served as President and Vice President of separate chapters of the National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC).
Bill Collins joined the company as service account executive in its Tampa regional office. He has more than 20 years of statewide Florida experience and his specialties include HVAC service and sales, facilities maintenance programs and retrofits in mission-critical environments. He holds numerous professional certifications including but not limited to pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing and clean room facilities.
Jeffrey Paine was hired as purchasing director for the Melbourne regional office. Paine has 17 years of experience in purchasing management and he earned an FMI professional certification in negotiation in 2002.
Joe Phillips was hired as prefabrication manager. He has 18 years of mechanical and plumbing industry experience including estimating and design/build, and his duties include management and supervision of prefabrication, manufacturing and deliveries. He is certified as a Medical Gas Installer and Brazer by the National Inspection Testing Certification (NITC), and is also an Apprenticeship Instructor as certified by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
