Meyer Najem to build $13.7 CEDIA headquarters in Fishers

CEDIA, the Custom Design and Electronic Installation Association, says it will build a $13.7 million global headquarters in Fishers near the new Ikea and other planned commercial developments.

IndyStar reports that the association buy a plot of land at 106th St. and Kincaid Ave. to build a 40,000-sq. ft. building. The association will move from its current Indianapolis home, which it leases at 71st St. and Georgetown Rd.

The three-story building designed by American Structurepoint, will be built by general contractor Meyer Najem.

“With all the new restaurant and entertainment additions to the area, we know this will be a wonderful location for us to entertain CEDIA members and volunteers and for CEDIA staff to enjoy the best of work and play,” Tabatha O’Connor, CEDIA chief executive officer and acting president, said in a prepared statement.

The headquarters will be near a planned culinary campus, a Topgolf entertainment and food venue, a Portillo’s restaurant and an Ikea, all planned at the 116th Street exit of I-69.

Meanwhile, Fairfield Inn & Suites plans to build a 99-room hotel at 106th St. and Crosspoint Blvd.
