Midwest Fertilizer Co. LLC‘s CEO Les Wright has provided a progress update on the company’s planned $2.8 billion plant proposed for Posey County.
The Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana (EDCSWI)Â has posted an interview with Wright, where he says the company is “putting the final touches” on its construction contract and continuing to co-ordinate remaining financing details.
Wright says there will be about 2,500 construction jobs to develop the project, which should “close” in the second quarter of 2018.
He didn’t identify the contractor in the interview.
