Foundation work is reportedly on the 18-unit, eight-story mixed-use building  at 1875 Broadway in eastern Bushwick. The 63-unit project will rent at below-market rates through the housing lottery, DNAinfo has reported.
OCV Architects has designed the building, developed by Ridgewood Bushwick Senior Citizens Council and Georgica Green Ventures are the developers.
The project, part of the ongoing redevelopment of the former Our Lady of Lourdes covenant, includes 7,019 sq. ft. of community facility space.
The project includes the conversion of a four-story structure at 11 DeSales Place and the construction of a six-story structure to the north, which has topped out, featuring an additional 58 residential units and 1,215 sq. ft. of community facility space, New York YIMBY reports.
