Walsh Construction Company has been awarded a $5.6 million contract by the Indiana Department of Transport to apply the accelerated bridge construction method in replacing the twin-three span bridges carrying Interstate 70 traffic over State Rd. 121/New Paris Pike in Wayne County using the accelerated bridge construction method.
Work on the project will begin in April, using detailed slide-in bridge construction plans. The project should be complete by June 2018.
