ABC Carolinas Hard Hat Legislative Day scheduled for April 19

The Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas (ABC Carolinas) has scheduled its Hard Hat Legislative Day in Raleigh for April 19.

The tentative agenda includes:

• Luncheon and legislative briefing session with keynote speaker: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., NC Museum of Natural Sciences, fourth floor – Nature Research Center
• Team meetings with legislators: 2 p.m. – Session convenes
• Visit House/Senate Chamber: Session convenes until approximately 5 p.m.
• Cocktail reception: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., NC Museum of Natural Sciences, first floor – Main Museum

The association says the event’s purpose is to “raise awareness of our organization and foster relationships with state leaders. Our Goal: Share views and concerns of our industry with elected officials.”
