Reed Construction says it has been selected to complete a 32,000 sq. ft. interior renovation of six new tenant spec suites for 123 North Wacker.
New owner LaSalle Investment Management’s Income and Growth Fund VII (JLL) has been co-ordinating a renovation of the 30-story office tower, originally constructed in 1986.
Reed Construction says it was selected by JLL to complete the project, which will include the new construction of six spec suites ranging in design style from traditional office to full creative. The interiors may include open offices, exposed ceilings, polished concrete, and collaborative conference rooms. Features of the spaces may incorporate custom glass office fronts, high-end millwork, unique lighting fixtures, and drywall cloud accents. This project will be completed on an expedited schedule and is slated for completion in July 2017.
Project manager Erik Gunderson will be leading the team for Reed Construction. Joining him will be project engineer Paul Jennrich, and project superintendent Mike Detlefsen. Architectural services are being provided by Earles Architect Associates.
