“We are excited to be part of Walmart Neighborhood Market’s continuing expansion in Central Florida, as well as to bring a great new neighborhood center to Orlando,” Bob Bedard, senior vice-president of development for the Deerfield Beach-based Konover South said in a statement.
Construction is slated to commence this spring and openings are set for first quarter 2018, Bedard said. The center at 13891 Landstar Blvd. is across the street from a Publix-anchored center in an area of new and planned residential developments.
Kimley-Horn, Orlando, is the project civil consultant and Cuhaci & Peterson is the architect. R.A. Rogers Construction Company, Altamonte Springs, is the general contractor.
