Two new development proposals have been submitted with the Chicago City Clerk, Curbed Chicago reports.
Sterling Bay recently filed a residential proposal to develop a site at the southwest corner of Lake and Ada.
The developer has several commercial projects in the area, including the Chicago headquarters of Google, Glassdoor, and McDonalds.

Sterling Bay plans to rezone a pair of parking lots and bring a 10-story building with 263 units and a rooftop pool and dog run plus ground floor commercial space and garage parking for 101 vehicles.

The project has been designed by Brininstool + Lynch.
Meanwhile, Madison Capital and ASB Real Estate Investment has proposed a seven-story office development at the corner of Carpenter St. and Carroll Ave.

Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture is designing the project to replace an old low-rise industrial structure. The new development will feature floor retail, a rooftop terrace for tenants, and at least 27 on-site parking stalls.
