The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Indiana chapter will be presenting a panel discussion about “Working with the media” on June 15.
“There are many reasons for an AEC firm to strive to be published,” the SMPS announcement says. “Media relations provides a credible link to a firms key audiences, such as clients, consultants and peers, which can help build their industry representation. When used in conjunction with a thoughtful marketing plan, good media placement helps draw attention to key aspects of a practice, promote individual partners or projects and reinforce the firm’s unique characteristics within a highly competitive marketplace.
“Media coverage confers third-party credibility as an endorsement of the firm’s values and strengths. Â This helps with attracting potential clients, recruits taff and promote goodwill with the client and with the project team.”
Admission to the event beginning at 3:30 p.m. is free for SMPS Indiana members and $25 for nonmembers. Â It will take place at ESCO Communications, 8940 Vincennes Cir., in Indianapolis.
