Miami-based Brodson Construction has named Marco Lorenzo as senior estimator. He will be responsible for managing the pre-construction of the South Seas Hotel historic renovation and other commercial projects.
Lorenzo has more than 28 years in the architecture, engineering and construction industries. He began his career working on diverse building and urban projects in Las Palmas, Spain and Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE. Earlier, he served as director of CR General Contractors, National Stoneworks, LLC in Weston, Florida where he was responsible for managing construction projects from architectural design phase through completion including estimating, contract management, buyout and cost control. Lorenzo also was a project engineer at All American Millwork in Miami.
Lorenzo received a Master of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Las Palmas in Spain and Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Kyrgyz State University in Kyrgyzstan.
